Class Guitar
Class Guitar is available to students of all ages looking to learn the basics of how to play the guitar. The class meets on Thursdays from 6:30–7:00 p.m. and meets for 12 sessions. $125

This class takes place on the University of Northwestern Campus, 9:30 - 10:00 AM on Mondays.
Musical Beginnings - Hope Christian Church
This class takes place at Hope Christian Church, 9:30 - 10:00 AM on Wednesdays.
Class Piano
Class Piano is available to beginners age 7 and up with no previous piano experience. The class meets on Mondays from 6:15–7:00 p.m. and lasts for 12 sessions. $200
Guitar Ensemble
Guitar Ensemble is for students of all ages with at least one semester of lesson experience and a working knowledge of first position, note reading, rhythm, and chords. The group meets on Tuesdays from 6:30–7:30 p.m. for 6 sessions and ends the semester with a final performance. $80
Violin Group
Violin Group is offered to violinists of all levels ages 4 and up on Tuesdays from 4:30–5:30 p.m. Students must be currently enrolled in violin lessons. $170
Vivace Voices
Vivace Voices is a youth choir for ages 10–17 on Mondays from 6–7 pm for 12 weeks per semester, culminating in a final performance. $150
Number of Lessons NOTE: Fall Session = 13 lessons within 15 weeks, Spring Session = 15 lessons within 17 weeks, Summer Session = choose between 1-12 lessons
Dual Faculty Instructors: Highly experienced instructors on faculty within the university department music program and the Academy of Music. Dual faculty have advanced degrees in music and include exceptional performers and pedagogues. This level of instructor will cost the most.
Faculty Instructors: Experienced instructors with music degrees ranging from bachelors through doctorates. Faculty instructors are accomplished teachers who actively perform in the community and are continually involved in teacher development. This level of instructor will cost will fall between Dual Faculty and Student Instructors.
Student Instructors: Exceptional students in the music program at University of Northwestern who are teaching to gain experience and apply newly learned teaching techniques. Student instructors are under the supervision of university faculty members and the Academy of Music director. This level of instructor will cost the least.

Worship Choir
The UNW Academy of Music Worship Choir exists to provide opportunities for community singers and students to experience meaningful worship and lead others in glorifying God together through song.
The Worship Choir meets to rehearse, fellowship and present multiple worship concerts and events held at churches around the Twin Cities area and on the University of Northwestern campus.
Worship Orchestra
The UNW Academy of Music Worship Orchestra exists to provide opportunities for community musicians and students to experience heartfelt worship and pursue the glorification of God together through music.
